Getting your size right matters: too loose and it won't compress properly; too tight and it can restrict circulation or irritate healing tissue.

What You'll Need

A soft measuring tape and a mirror (or a second set of hands).

The 3 Key Measurements

  1. Bust — around the fullest part of your chest, tape level and snug
  2. Waist — around your natural waistline, usually just above the belly button
  3. Hips — around the fullest part of your hips and glutes

If you're currently swollen from surgery, measure your current size — not your pre-surgery or goal size.

Tips for Accuracy

  • Don't pull the tape tight — snug, not compressing
  • Measure twice to confirm
  • Measure at the same time of day, ideally in the morning
  • When between sizes, size up, especially early in recovery
